Terror strikes twice in Lahore killing at least 28 and injuring 170 people. The destructive suicide car bombing destroyed the federal head quarters of Pakistan’s premier probe agency and a house near PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari’s residence in Lahore on march11, o8. The blast that happened in the seven story office of the Federal Investigation Agency located on temple Road at 9:23a.m. Killed at least 24 people and injured many of them. Around hundred employees of Federal Investigation agency were already on their jobs when the blast occurred. Dreadful encounters twice in Lahore: killed 32
The blast reduced several lower floors to rubble, it affected walls, stairs and most important the life of people, some are killed and rest are seriously injured. Sources say that the attacker’s severed head was found by police and sent for DNA tests. The deadly attack also affected several nearby building, including the office of the Pakistan Olympic Association, a school runs by a Christian Organization and that too all injured the students of the school. Simultaneously, the second blast that took place in residential area too proved to be destructive for human life and property as well. It is being suspected that the main targets in the this area were the nearby residence of an army official or Bilawal house, the residence of PPP co chairman Asif Ali Zardari. An official from the unit said,” This is an Al-Qaida style of bombing, like we see in North Africa and Iraq.” One can only hope that things get well soon for Pakistan and for the terrorists one can say that “terrorism is not going to give anyone anything but is just going to ruin everything.”
